Paint code .....

where abouts would i find the paint code for my car? iv been told it will be either in the engine bay, boot or under the carpet. but i can't find one 

she is a 1990 1.6 Golf Driver, H reg ...

edit - in Halfruads the booklet says its classic red but the paint shop said that is just a general name for it. Also there was 4 different shades of tornado red so im not sure whats going on there lol

do you have the original handbook that came with the car? the details will be on a little sticker on it

cheers dude just found it on a sitcker in the boot and it is LY3D ... will be going to buy that tomorrow then
