Retro fitting a GT grille to a GT TDI (Mk5)
« on: 09 August 2007, 22:53 »
I was wondering is it possible to directly refit a later GT model grille in place of the standard grille to my 2004 GTTDI - the fitment appears to be the same in both cases...I'm I wrong!!

All advice/ comments greatly received!

Also - Anyone replaced a rear bumper on a GTTDI to a GTI fitment bumper...can it be done? would I need to change the exhaust system?

i would have thought it was possible in the same way people could retro fit the R32 bumper to the MKIV.

only thing with the MKV is that it looks like you need more than just the bumper as it looks integrated into the grill  :undecided:
