Hello all i have a query i hope some one could help me wit i have a P reg mk3 golf gti 8v 5 door i have recently fitted some 17s with no scrubbage at all, i want to lower the car as it is my every day car and i have to drive some seriously crap roads every day i am ruling out coilovers the main plan is to lower the car down to the tyre i reckon a 30mm drop on shocks and springs will do it but here is my problem i recently became a dad and the car has to remain comfatable wit having minimal arch work done what is the best make of shocks and springs to go for that will give it the look im after  just want it to be smooth any feed back would be greatly appreciated

Eibach spring's with boge shocker's....will still be comfy enough with a 20mm drop. I have the -40mm eibach's and the ride is harder (allthough not back breaking!) but it sound's like you'll need to compromise on ride and how low and have the smaller drop!!!
