GTI Summer Festival pics

A good day out if a little quiet.  Good to say Hi and chat to some people on here as well as other forums.  :smiley:

Serious sunburn  :evil:

Did not take many pics (unlike inters Lol!)

The club stand.  Thanks to Vaughn and Dan for a great spot  :smiley: Sorry to Tesh and JV whose cars are hidden  :embarassed:





Chris_wht whose standard Jetta 16v posted a highly respectable 16.275 on this run on the 1/4 mile sprint.  I think he did 6 or 7 runs.  A highly modded MK1 took overall honours at around the 10 sec mark closely followed be a Scirocco.



Non could get close to the awesome Jet Car at 6 seconds with a terminal speed of 226 mph.  The noise was amazing  :cool:







All sorts go up the sprint.  These two guys were at it all day  :cool:



The Blue gang had a meet  :grin:

Show was abit empty but still got a few more parts.

Yeh was a great daay, weather was near perfect. Nice to finally meet some of you and a big thanks to JV for the stickers.......oh and no probs si, maybe next year eh...?

Hey Simon,

Don't worry about hiding Mine & JV's there both shambolic and the owners  :evil:

Good to meet you hopefully we can catch you again on the remaining few shows left for the year.

The BLUE line up looks particluarly impressive through the lense.
