induction kits

i currently have a k&n induction kit fitted and am thinking about changing it to omp induction kit
does anybody know if the omp filters are any good or any other alternatives that are good as i think my k&n is a bit old and clogged up cheers also car is a 1990 8v digi

K&N's are designed to be cleaned and reused. You can get a proper K&N cleaning kit that has cleaning fluid and filter oil in for about £15 i think.

i have a cleaning kit for pipercross but the one i had was a sponge filter so would this work with the k&n

I'd think that would work. Cleaning is easy enough, you can just use a brush and petrol if you're stuck. The important part is re-oiling it.

Had a look round and i have an unused K&N 'Recharger' kit which i could send you for a fiver to cover p&p. PM me if you're interested.
