Just Got the my Turbo Back For ED30 milltek
« on: 06 April 2008, 15:07 »
Hi guys

I just got the Milltek exhaust for my ED30 , a complete Turbo Back. What I can say this is a State Of the Art product !!! I am impressed with the qaulity and build of this exhaust , I had a supersprint on my Ibiza, a Jetex on my Mk4 and an HKS on my Evo 8 , No exhaust matches the quality coming out from Milltek, even the hardware kit they supply is 1 of a kind

Thanks milltek and good job !! I will try to take a few pictures of the exhaust and post them

The Full milltek TBE is a lovely piece of kit. I've had mine on for about a thousand miles now and it is starting to mature nicely. The throttle response is the main change I noticed as pick up seems faster and crisper  Also the latest rolling road I went on the car made an increase of 19bhp from before the Milltek was fitted  How much of this was the milltek and how much was the change in conditions and the adaptive learning of the remap with the ecu is anyone's guess, but I'd say it's reasonable to estimate around 10-15bhp increase purely from the exhaust on a re-mapped ED30.

Hurdy has your fuel consumption changed since fitting the turbo back? I am getting less mpg now, but notice my computer has been reset. Last time VW resetted my comp i noticed poorer mpg until a few hundred miles later. Maybe ecu is tweaking itself for new settings?

I haven't really noticed, but then again I don't usually check. All I can really say is that if it has reduced the consumption it can't be by much and is worth it for the extra response

The exhaust added 12bhp to my Leon.

Just so you know, aftersales from Milltek is top notch too should there be any issues :)
