Hey Guys and Gals, was wondering if there is any difference in a solid and a split rear seat set up? Ie different brackets, or fixings?

No just the covering caps on a split rear seat are different to a solid rear bench fix in exactly the same way

I think the carpet is different too. Reason being there are 2 hinges on the 60 bit of the seat and 1 on the 40 bit, whereas the one piece bench has only 2 hinges.

Oh yeah, and i have one in the shed!

so can you buy the hinges, or do you need to fabricate?

should be hinges on the bench already, you might have an issue fitting it though.

Yep, hinges are on the seats. The holes will already be in the body so just a case of bolting them in. I suppose you could just make a couple of holes in your carpet.

the carpets have the holes in already, if you look in your car you'll see a plastic cover in the middle, remove this and holes for the middle hinges will be revealed :)
