mini mal? Pretty good for north devon then. Its been pretty awful of late around north devon either messy or flat. I surf there regularly ( only its "up to north devon" for me i live in east devon.) I got a 9'6" local shaper's board. its pretty :)
My GF surfs either a 8' or her custom (in the literal sense ie shaped around her size and style) billabong - dont remember the size.
We NEED a van, fed up of getting changed on the bl:undecided::undecided:dy carpark and we have the only golf that you cant get a roof rack for apparantly (mk3 5door) so we use a soft roofrack which is not doing the roof or door seals any good.
So, Transporter it is! We were looking at Mazda Bongos but they're tiny compared to Transporters and Transporters look so much better.
My dad's a carpenter so he can do some of the fittings inside as well :)

Sounds cool (apart from the roof rack). I love my wedge and touch wood it's been pretty reliable so far although it's a tad thirsty on the old juice!
