Need advice re getting cat 1 alarm..

Ez all, hoping someone can help me. My mk3 vr6 factory fitted alarm went bonkers today, and just don't work no more! Long story short.. Need new alarm system. I want to get something like the clifford intelliguard 950 with intellistart, though is it me or is £660 just way too much? Also i'm gonna have to pay labour to have mine removed.. So gonna be over £700 which i think is a bit much! Any advice? Anyone know of better deals or places to go? Thanks in advance for any info

Can definitely recommend http://www.gapsecurity.co.uk/ - i had my concept 650 supplied and fitted by them. To me, 700 on an alarm seems a bit mental!

Gap have quoted me £850! Lol, bit stuck for ideas really.. Though i reckon water has got on my sensors and stopped my alarm from working as it works once in a blue moon!
