I'm just pretty chuffed with my latest purchase so i thought i'd share my joy!
I now have an A reg gti in mars red to add to the fleet! The body is pretty much immaculate with no rust or blemishes to the paint, just a couple of stone chips here and there but feck all for a 23 year old car
I'm the 3rd owner and the car will be 23 years old tomorrow according to the documents.
Anywho, a quick description until i take photos tomorrow:
3 door in Mars Red
Black mk1 style vinyl side decals
Plain black small bumpers
P slots (although missing one cap
)
Single pipe exhaust with small valence cut out (not a half blanked double)
No sun roof!
Late spec grille at the moment, but that will change tomorrow
