I did once test an 8V mk3, your right saying that they are not the fastest car on the block.

So you don't want to get married then! :grin:

Looking at his sales list reminded me of the time that Tiff Needel drove me around Donnington in a M635 CSI. Amazing  :evil:

this may wind len up....but the 8v is the more relaxed drive and possibly easier to drive fast (no thrashy 16v thing going on) and they do have problem's but what 10 year old car dosen't and they effect 8 and 16v model's. With some subtle mod's (mainly suspension) they can be a fun drive.... oh and the anniversary is the one to have
I can drive mine from about 20-25mph in 5th and it still pulls well and unlike the 16v i've driven it's not like waiting for a guiness :laugh:
