Dip Stick Problem.
« on: 01 May 2007, 23:14 »
My 8v Mk2 has a 2ltr bottom end. (2E from Passat?). The plastic bits on the dipstick tube are broken, will i have to get a complete new dip stick or can the plastic bits be replaced?? I believe that an air leak here can affect the engine management system? Danny.

If it's the orange/red coloured bit you can buy this alone....buy from vw if possible as these are far superior quality to ebay type stuff and there only a few quid at most
