Roof trim question
« on: 13 May 2007, 21:19 »
I was just wondering if the door seal is separate from the roof trims/gutters?

I have large sections of door seal missing on the driver's side and as a result a slight breeze can be felt when going down the motorway. It's also bloody noisy!

Do you know if they're definitely one piece though? I'm hoping i can replace the seal separately to the roof trim as that is fine!

Yeah, and the last time i checked, i think it was £250 from VW!!

Think i might have sworn at the technician when he said that!

I got a nearly new one from a scrap car, for £25! It had been replaceed, and the car scrapped! Trouble is, i only got one... and now the other side has gone

you'll also need new clips as you'll break a few taking the old strip off!
