Got another problem! few months back my counter stopped registering miles (not really a massive worry really
) but I fixed it, the spindle that runs through the numbered sections has a red cog on the end which had been displaced from its position and wasn't catching the drive screw designed to turn it, pushed it in problem solved! Soooo anyways, shortly afterwards the counter suddenly appeared with an extra 100,000 on it!!! puting it at 245k instead of the proper 145k, panicked I reopened the speedo and knocked it back!! all was well till the other day I watched it click over from 245k to 345k to 445k where it has stayed working as normal!! What the muck is going on? All suggestions welcome.
