I would think about selling it a buying a manual.
alot of my friend have tryed this and failed.
a mate bought a J reg 1.6. driver for 350 quid  :shocked:

Yes, its a big job and very difficult.  If you have a manual donner car its a bit easier but its much easier to sell up and get your self a manual.
