Charging is easier iirc + turbos get warm and sit next to the cockpit so I'd be wary about that :)

Probably got lost in the "Great Crash of 08

Getting the right belts for the superchargers are a pain in the ass aswell, as i am finding out.

hmmm turbooooooo!!  that will be just perfect with a turbo.

By the way vr6_rob can you tell me how hard it was to do the vr6 transplant, things you wish you had done, extra parts needed?

ill phone that place on tuesday
i was out in the vr last week doin some speed about 90ish
bottom radiator hose decided to pop off lost all my water misfiring
hea gasket job i thought limped it home as i was about 2 minutes away
pulled up steaming put hose back on topped it up seems ok oils ok heaters are hot again
might of got away lucky

it took me ages to do as i never had the correct tools and alot of things were seized
but it was fairly easy

i never did the electrics

but dent the chassis leg so the pulley does not rub
id suggest putting rear corrado mounts in so engine sits level you can leave normal ones but it rubs the bonnet
corrado front crossmember
mk3 golf subframe bolts straight onto the mk2
a clutch bracket from seat so you can keep cable clutch instead of hydraulic
decat pipe

you can use the mk3 bottom arms but the rear axle needs to be replaced then as its wider
i put my mk2 arms in the mk3 subframe with polyrace bushes more easier
just try not to snap to many bolts like me lol
