If you have not used the car for a while, then I would continue to use it, albeit gently, and keep an eye on the water contamination, and oil level, until you are sure that either the oil contamination has flushed itself out, or you indeed have a problem. Nothing worse than doing a major job on a car than to find you have made no sodding difference.
You would be suprised where various fluids can get trapped and suddenly free themselves later. Also, if you had a problem with oil transfer, then more than likely, you would also get water transfer into the oil too. So keep an eye on that.

So what would you suggest then run the car for say another 500 miles then on the way keep checking the oil in the water as i have no contamination of oil what so ever empty out the coolant bottle every sign of oil ???

Yea, it could be oil left over from the your old leaking oil cooler (if it was leaking in the first place that is)

i would drain and flush your water system a few times and you will know if its old oil from your cooler if it dont come back.. (if you dont mind getting the ground dirty you could drain the coolant from the thermo outlet and leave the hose off. them stick the hose pipe in the coolant tank for a while  .)

Its possible it could be a one way leak into the water system if its on the high pressure oil line.

i would take it off if its still doing it, get it warp and pressure tested so you know where you stand.. if you head is porous it will show up on a pressure test..

if your taking the head off yourself remember to soak the exhausts stud in penetrating oil / wd40 for as long as possible before removing the manifold..

Might be difficult to skim it again if its already been done once. Could get valve clearance trouble..

Well its now Friday and the head is back on, came back from the machine shop Tuesday pressure check all ok and re faced.
Ordered the head gasket set, 10 head bolts and a new cam belt from GSF, This all turned up on wednesday so back together it went oh and new injectors the merc ones from the ebay guy and new inj seals.
Finally got it finished and fired up on Thursday night. Within 5 min's the expansion bottle had a skim of oil so i removed the small hose from the exp bottle and let it run into an old coolant bottle so i c ould monitour the oil that was coming out from it but by this time it had prety much stopped so cleaned out the exp bottle put it back on.
Now i'm sure the head is ok I will drive it for 1000miles and monitour it......

So as a whole no closer to solving my problem but i've got a fresh head gasket as well as the other gaskets and a new set of injectors...
