Has anyone tried importing an ED30?
Are they available abroad?
Are they much cheaper?
What are the disadvantages? 2 year warranty- re-sale?

EuroImports have one available and said they can order them to UK spec, not sure if
the discounts are as good as the standard GTI.
I thought you had already ordered yours!

I was offered an imported E30 for about £800 less than UK spec.... in the end thought it wasn't worth the saving once you've added the extra years warranty and insurance hassles (yes they still ask if it's an import)
Just buy a standard E30 and forget the xenons, job sorted!

Yeah I have. Just wondered what other people had done and if I was making the right choice!
