Hi Guy,
Just found the forum. Just purchased a awesome little 8v Gti. Just starting to overhaul brakes but can't get the piston out. Any suggestions or tool that can do it.

There is a specific tool for removing/winding the caliper piston
Think halfords sell them if not try german swedich french (google it if you not sure where your nearest branch is)

Halfords do sell them, but it is a laser item, not sure if it covers the old golfs, i think it has a few adapters in it.
