GT to GTi Conversation

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the site and hope some can help me.  I have just bought my wife a new GT TSI Golf, but was looking to change the front grill to a gti one.  Does anyone know if it is a simple swap.  My local VW parts guy told me it is a complete new bumper and steal frame or bracket, but not cheap to do.

I pretty sure if you search the forum you'll find someone else who did this, and it sounded like a nightmare and costly too and your insurance will go up as it is then classed as a modified car.

Just buy a GTI!!!
