Horn Replacement
« on: 09 February 2007, 09:26 »
My Golf's horn sounds like herbie or something out of a kids film, u hold it down and it will randomly sound the horn on and off - intermintantly.

I need a new one, its embarrasing! - Where should i get them from and what size/fitment specs if there are any should i be looking for?

There should be 2 horns, one low tone & one high tone, and one of them is probably knackered, so try disconnecting a wire from one of them, they live kind of under the battery tray bolted on with the bolts for the front bumper

Not sure which one was knackered on mine but it gets through the MOT fine with just one wired in
