can any one give us some info my isv is knackered and wondered weather the one off a mk3 gti 8v would be ok on my 16v they look the same but just got different numbers on the bar code

although i dont know for sure mate, vw are very like toyota in one respect - they like to re-use parts and designs across a range of cars. It makes good production engineering sense and is cost effective so probably identical.

The barcode will be to keep seperate stocks for the build kit for each car model at the factory re production scheduling.

Loads of passat parts are used on the mk3 golf etc.
