Alloys - No bloody shop has any BK samples
« on: 29 January 2007, 14:06 »
I quite fancy the BK299 or 399 for my Mk3 GTI.  :undecided:

Live in Manchester, got a dealer list from the BK website and have rung around and NO-ONE has any in stock as a sample you can actually see.

Am I being funny BUT you would think you places might think people at least want to see the alloys and see if they suit the car before you spend nearly 400 quid (minus tyres) on them.

The helpful guy from BK  said if I pay for delivery of 1 alloy, the shop might be OK with that !!

Is this the same for most alloys (as I am going off BK very quickly) that you basically have to buy them sight unseen (on the car at least) ?

Virtually everything I know about the workings of the internal combustion engine can be written on the back of a small stamp with a large marker
