Drove a colleagues Mk5 Sport tdi 4 motion which had been re-mapped ,very impressive,any idea why VW dont sell many?

Four wheel drive diesel makes me think of a heavy engine, heavy drive train (poor fuel consumption) and lardy handling - maybe i'm not alone!

Drove like the GT 170 tdi with no wheel spin and better grip on wet roundabouts.Its basically a front wheel drive untill the rear needs traction,I have GTI 30 on order but it still impressed me.
Doc Its silver from Glasgow.
