heated wing mirrors
« on: 11 January 2007, 21:24 »
got a golf 2002 pd100 se model revo'd now though

was wondering if my car has heated wing mirrors and how do i know if it does.

it does not have the heated rear window symbol on the wing mirror adjustments liek the gti's does
so does this mean they are not heated when i put press the rear windwscreen heater button it does not seem to do anything to the wing mirrors but then again i cant tell as once i start driving it clears up almost, anywhere to indefinately tell if they are...

thanks

do the heate windowswork by pressing the rear windscreen demister button i think on mine thats how they operate because i can feel the glass gettign warmer  on the twiddly knob it does not have the windscreen demister symbol but it works by using the rear windscreen demister,

Yes, mine work when you switch on the heated rear window.
