I've only just noticed that when i accelerate it has a flat spot just above 2000rpm, i have only noticed this while it's cold but i'll try it tonight when its warm, could this be a sign that somethings starting to wear out at all? I should also add it's only a 1.4 1996 golf and has done 69000 miles, so i shouldnt think anythings on its way out, however the woman only used it for town driving and things never got used properly.
