Hi, sory to hear about your woes... I've had this nightmare for two weeks now...  07865073124 for live advice !.. There are a coupla things well worth checking and easy to fit... What condition are the Leads in ?... When you remove the centre lead from the dizzy, and hold it  two inch from the engine, get  some1 to turnkey,is it a strong spark ?... If so,then check each lead with a plug in it, one at a time,if an equally reasonably strong spark, then prob, not leads.. Although 1 last leads check.. At night open bonnet, run engine, look carefully for any "arcing" roundabout the leads... After all this... If it needs leads, I just bought a set from factors for 30.. How old are the plugs,do they look ok?.. Next is the crank position sensor, small black round thing, held by a 10 mill bolt to front of block,easy2see.. same height as middle of dizzy, about 6 inch to left of dizzy...  Has a black lead from it with a plug.. Changed in 1  inute.. Scrappy for cheap, 350 from Vw..  You must have a strong equal spark... Warning, do not  move dizzy, unless you Really have to...
