well what can i say.......

back at home in one piece, cars in one piece to although the front brakes have gone to the metal ,

id do a little write up of how i got on etc

got there at 7.30, signed on, had a hot chocolate then the safety briefing, then it was time for 3 sighting lap behind a safety car... feck me... it was a case of follow my leader at a steady pace increasing speed on each lap.... job done and by the last of the 3 i though i was going as quick as id dare on the road anyways.... had a bit of a delay getting out as 2nd group of sighting laps had a wipe out... a custom built 4 wheel drive mk3 fiesta cosworth went tits up and wiped out, fibreglass and bit of intercooler and stuff everywhere so they had to clear that....

1st go a raggin it was a reeto buzz, queing in the assemble area waiting to be let on, then your waved on and off you go, 1st few laps were steady as it was still wet and i was just sussin out the sort of lines i wanted to take, all the vr wanted to do was spin up its fron wheels coming out of corners... just got used to feathering the power to try and avoid this... did 8 laps then came in for a fag and a cuppa... was buzzin like mad...

let my mate rag it for 5 laps then he came back in, cuppa/bacon butties were next on the menu as it was so slippy, as we were eating a dry racing line appeared and damn when i rolled out next time it was awesome loads more grip, the vr still had the power to spin em though so had to not be too mad, there were cars spinning off here and there, had great pleasure wiping the @rse of a gsi astra and a few others, me mate had another go and dusted off a mk1 gti that was there and some old shape audi coupe thing...

so the day went on, and as it did the brakes decided they were going to boil the fluid, so we cooled off for 1/2 hour, then we cooked the pads, or should i say metal... cause by the time jay (harcore) turned up we were smokin!!.. we shouldnt have really gone out but hey they still worked but not as good as before... as the track got dry er it got better taking bends at 80-90mph either flat out in 3rd or just knocking into 4th at around 98 ish..

i was totally suprised how the vr6 was cleaning up on the straights and since i stripped it and fitted the seats you could feel what it was doing and push it more handling wise, beat loads of stuff and held off a repsol escort cossie for about 4 laps.. got breamed by a tvr only for him to spin off on the next bend, a few caterhams and westfields got me but other i was pretty much holdin me own, couldnt out do me mates skyline on the straights but had enough corner speed to pip him out of em....

so all in all a great day, and will be booking more of these next year at various tracks next year now ive got the hang of pushin the vr further than you could possibly do on the road,

heres some pics (from hardcore) and a few of mine below then a few links to some crappy vids ive uploaded top youtube
