i had a simular problem a few months ago. i took the wheel off and theres a metal plate that holds the cable to the brake which had bent therefore hitting my alloys which made a loud grinding sound. so maybe something to check.

duno mate. mine was only a thin bit of metal which easily can get caught and bent while driving therefore gets caught in alloys, so had to bend it back and seems fine now.
duno if this helps but thought mite be worth checking

You might need to put a tad of copper grease on the sliders for the pads my Bora used to do the same thing.

NO lol :D when the pads slide into and away from the brake disc they run on metal sliders built into the calliper these corrode slightly over time and can cause squealing. Take the pads out, LIGHTLY grease the runners and then reassemble or take it to quick sh!t for a free brake test. :)
