Seems a couple of you own them and i have a question, my mate has a 80 coupe 2l 8v and when under load it misfires badly, thaught it was the maf, changed that no joy. Apart from the usual things like plugs lead ect anything else could cause it? it also has a k+n induction kit which looks like it aint been cleaned for ages, could it be related?

change the dizzy cap and rotor arm, it is more than likley that the contacts are worn.
