Alloy wheel refurber in the north west?

I'm having difficulty finding a place the will blast paint/corrosion off my rims and slap some new paint on them for a reasonable sum.

I'm not fussed about having the "slight" curbing filled or an immaculate finish so thought of ringing powder coaters, blasters etc, however I'm not having much luck.

The best I could find is £160 from a wheel place in Blackpool, I was hoping to pay less than £100.

Anyone had this done cheapy in the North West?

A place called The Blast Shop at Thursby near Carlisle has refurbished alloys for absolutely years! The results are factory finish!

You are looking at £40(ish) a wheel - more for big - less for small!

I've seen the work, and it is very good!

but its prob miles from you so out of the question!

I'm looking in to this at the mo too as I want my factory rims spraying silver as the last owner sprayed them grey! and it just doesn't suit the car. 

I know theres a place in Preston called wheel repair centre tel: 01772 627600 and theres another in Merseyside called Pro Clean their number is 0151 426 1885.

Try these mate, I haven't phoned any yet as waiting for pay day.
