what do you think of this idea
Is the service time linked to the number of time you turn the key?
I only do on average 15-25 mile per day but due to work i am in and out the car up to 30 times a day

I would of thought a lot of stop/starts could well degrade the oil as it never gets 'cleaned' by longer running times.

Yeah i think there is a carbon sensor in the engine. Basically it knows how clean the oil is.
