anyone for a cheap r32?

my uncle bought an audi a3 3.2 v6 sportline a couple of years ago cars on an 04. Looks well subtle and i jus wondered if you guys were aware that its the same car chassis and everything. he bloody loves it bear in mind this is a man who also drives a bugatti eb110 and 1937 rolls phantom. so must be a crackin car!!!
sun, sea, sand + mk2 8v gti = fun

simillar but defo not the same - we have an 05 '55 A3 3.2 S-line and it drives in a very different manor to the R32  :shocked:

right well i thought it bein a vag and all the platform sharing that goes on in that company it would be the same how are they different? in terms of feel etc? which is quicker?

Damn - I thought you meant a REAL R32... I wonder if I can complain to trading standards?  :grin:

Just test drove a new TT 3.2 the sales man told me that the engine is not FSI like the R32. Don't no if it's the same with the A3?
03 210 Seat LCR. Badger5 V2.2TIP, Fordge 007p, Wellycooler, Quaife ATB LSD, Nuespeed ARB's, KW Clubsports, 330mm discs, 3" turbo back de cat and still on the standard map!

R32 is faster and feels far more a drivers car.

A3 3.2 is not FSi and they use the same ECU as the Mk4 R32!

how do the power and torque bands compare? does the 3.2 a3 feel more like a cruiser?
