Irritating squeaky noise

when moving at low speeds I can hear this irritating squeaky/jingling noise, doesn't seem affected by engine speed and as far as i can make out doesn't happen when driving along normally.  Sometimes when taking a sharp corner I can hear a thunk very much like say the exhaust hitting the underside of the car some where.  Car was in for MOT today and passed, I asked them to look for this noise but nothing was done about it and I didn't get to speak to the mechanic.  the 'thunking' noise doesn't happen often, doesn't happen when going over bumps either, just sharp turns.  Oh and also when I start the car up there is a slight rattle from the underside somewhere, just for a second after turning the key.

suspension bushes? is the noise coming from the rear or the front?

Sounds costly.  I would say the front, passenger side if you pushed me for a side.  Had the rear axle bushes done about a month ago.

could be the bearings

Id say bearings aswell, on mine when i turn sharp and accelerate get a horrible screeching and the rest of my suspensions pretty tight. Could try taking the wheel off and check for movement in the wishbone and bushes to check its not them first.
