Flat Battery

Hi there
My GTI was delivered in February this year and on four occasions since the battery has gone flat.
It happens when the car hasn't been used for about six days (it was fine however after a two week absence to Australia in the summer) and the battery has been replaced although it hasn't solved the problem. The local VW dealer kept it for a week but it appears to be an intermittent battery drain fault and they couldn't find anything wrong.
Any ideas? Many thanks
William
