Why does my battery go flat every week or so
« on: 24 September 2006, 11:10 »
Hi guys, got an annoying problem. My battery goes flat every week, gradually getting worse and worse all week, i drive a 50 mile round trip each day so that should charge it up.

What do you recon, is something draining it or is my alternator broke, how can i find out which???

its a new battery so its not that

thanks guys!

Could be the alternator but I'd check all the wires 1st and make sure the clamps are done up tight.  Does the battery light stay on when driving?
