« on: 14 May 2009, 14:09 »
Hi,

Ive brought service parts, pollen, fuel, oil filers and oil.
Just wanted  to know is there any threads on how to actually fit these?

Thanks

you also need a sump plug as they aren't re-usable

you'll also require a torque wrench as the sump plug should be tightened to 30Nm

oil change, run engine for 10 mins at idle till the oil is at temp

turn off engine, jack up car (use axle stands), remove sump plug, drain oil, remove oil filter cap, change oil filter (this will have a side marked top, this is the top), change oil filter o rings (lube with some oil) replace cap. replace sump plug.

fill the engine to the line on dip stick, about 5 litres, run engine for 5 minutes, check for leeks, check oil level, top up if needed.
