I recently fitted some really sexy ronal LS 15's to the wifes driver 

Was just wondering if I'm OK using the original wheel bolts or should i get some longer ones?

put one through the wheel and if there doesn't look like sufficient thread poking through get longer ones!

I used tapered bolts from a beemer 5 series in the scrappy as that is what we worked out that we needed (me and Rubjonny off here) for my Ronal LSs  Still the same length as the original bolts though.

You need to use alloy wheel bolts when fitting alloy wheels otherwise they can seize... did she have alloys originally?

No she just had some very nasty old steelies on, not a bad motor for £75 tho!! I bought it 4 the missus to learn to drive in but i drive it more than she does! Even with the tractor style ride height it handles like a go kart! Love it.......

Your memory aint what it used to be, BMW bolts are longer than the original VW ones

You defo need BMW bolts for those Ronals as they use a tapered seating (At least James got that bit right ) and the origninal VW bolts have a ball seating
