GT TDi 150 or GTi turbo

Hello as above im looking at buying a mk4 soon but not sure which to go for, which ones going to be a better car, which ever one i get i will have chipped so will be about the same power

Also whats the V5  and V6 like?

do you mean the gt tdi and the gti turbo petrol
the diesel is just as fast if not a bit faster mid range (and better mpg) but the petrol version is easier to tune and you will get mor bhp out of it

the v5's are quick with 170bhp but you are limited if you want to tune them
v6 if you want to spend lots of time at the petrol station they are nice and sound sooo cool

Cheers mate, are the v6's really bad on fuel then, what sort of power can you get from the 1.8 turbo without going too mad

you can easily see 200 bhp on a later dbw engine for 6-700 squids
