Hi peeps,

its been ages since i posted anything on here, but am in need of help.

what it is peeps is that my air bag light has come on, on my dash, i havnt been involved in an accident or my car's not been involved in any bump, so i dont understand why its on 24/7.

i was wondering if anyone else has had the fault or if anyones knows how to sort the problem out, without having to pay the stealers.

Hi,

No easy way out mate, diagnostics is your only hope.
What ever you do DON'T take it to VW dealers for diagnostics they will charge you £91 an hour for starters.

My Airbag light, brake light, ABS light, every light you can think of lit up on the dash board and turned out to be the Airbag module and cost me just under £900 for the diagnostics, labour, parts and VAT.

Seek a good garage for diagnostics price and start from there.

If you want to get it diagnosed id recommend having a look at the gendan VAG-COM handheld tester. I brought one for £49 and im pleased with it, plus its only as much as a good mechanics hour.
