I have had a problem wi this car now for 2wks several garages later and £350 lighter and still have the problem..

when the car is cold runs great the when warms up it splutters and hunts.

renewed the following

plugs , dissy cap, rotar arm, leads, relays. then find out air mass sensor f**ed so get a second hand one fitted and still have the problem

went back to the garage and there is no fault codes displayed and the mechanic is stumped..

think I might torch the dam thing yet

please please please help me...

first thing would be temp sensor.....make sure you get correct one as they are colour coded, after that next would be the hall sender on the dizzy.
here's a pic of my 95 ady engined golf with simos injection (your's should be bosch on a 93 but location's are similar)
