Best Exhaust for Gti 8v, any recommendations???
« on: 23 June 2006, 17:31 »
My exhaust is knackered any recommendations for a stainless steel. I used to have a powerflow on my Rover coupe and it was really nice. We have a good fitter at my local powerflow garage and I have had a quote of £340 all in. However I can get a Magnex cat back for £290 + fitting. Or how about jetex, scorpion, mongoose, remus, supersprint. So many choices advice would be gratefully received!!!!

2006 Golf GTI Mk5, 1997 Golf GTI Mk3 Anniversary - Both gone, but not forgotten...Just arrived Golf GTI 16v Mk3!!!!!

Powerflow are good on everyday cars...I have one on my bug...but when performance comes into it IMO they suck. I have had one taken off my Fiat Coope 20vT as the pressures where all wrong as was the pipe diameter. Companies like Magnex, Supersprint, Milltek and Siebring have had many years developing thier systems and have them sorted.....I would go with a known name like the ones I mentioned above.

edit: I love the Siebring twin 101mm round tips...look the muts and sound throaty as under full chat
