idle rpm

just spent over £300 sorting out my car ("steam oh no" thread) car is now ok....but...after plugging in fault finder came up with a code,engine speed sensor,idle rpm to high.
What does this mean and how do i sort it out? just replaced crank speed sensor is this related?...havnt noticed noticed any problems with idle

Did you reset the fault code? It might have been one from sometime ago .

reset the code, came back again....also car stalled at traffic lights today for no reason..i mean itm just cut out :sad:
