Door mirror Glass (can it be removed and refitted ?)

Just a quick one, does anyone know the best way to get the mirror glass out in one bit so I can refit it in another mirror, Ive just got another door mirror and the glass is the not the original so I'm gonna take it out of the one on the car and fit it in the new mirror then put that one on the car. Thanks

Anyone ? looks like I'll have to resort to cutting the old mirrior up to see how the glass fits and remove it like that

Come on peeps I know it seems a silly one but I really don't know if the glass is removable and don't want to chance breaking it for nothing and I'm talking to myself  :embarassed:

I presume you mean wing mirror glass. I removed mine by simply prising it out from each end using a screwdriver. It was held on by clips and just popped out.

I have heard that you can break it if you're not careful though so make sure you go gently!

Thanks for that I'll give it a go, I thought wing mirrors were fitted on the wings
