Air Induction Kits - 20v Turbo GTi

Morning all,

Have my car booked in at Awesome GTi this Friday and was considering gettin them to fit an induction kit to my GTi. Anyone have any recomendations? I hear some of them result in quite an agressive sound under acceleration etc? 

Do they affect reliability at all?

As long as it contains a non-oil filter, then they're shouldn't be any reliability issues.

I never really looked into which I.K. to get etc, as a mate of mine had his Golf written off & sold me his BMC for £50  ..... They cost about £200 when new, IIRC!
