180/150 differences

Hi all, can you tell me how to tell the difference between a 150 20vt and a 180 please? Ive done a quick search on here, but was unable to tell  :undecided:

One of the club members on beedubs wants to get one, but we dont know how to tell which is which!

180 will be 6 speed.

This model was only offered from October 2002 to Feb 2004, and not only in the anni spec, the engine code will also be AUQ.

ok so easiest way is age, and that it'll be 6 speed. Where abouts is the Engine code on these 20vT's?

look on the sticker in the spare wheel well, it will say here. If its a 2003 model it will have a different display on the dash computer too

I know the 180bhp one is the one that makes most power when tuned - i think the head's slightly different  :undecided:

Got wires crossed there matey. :wink:

All Drive by wire cars that are fitted with the ko3s turbo will make roughly the same power when remapped/tuned, 150hp or 180hp.

And its the older non dbw AGU which has the bigger head, Best engine for big power. :smiley:
