I have a Gti p plate with a couple of problems :
The door does not operate, I had an RAC man out who took the door card off and said it was connecting rod which has broken and needs replacing ? Does this sound right and if so should I try a scrap yard or buy from VW - anyone know how much, a description I can give the VW parts man and how easy to fit ?
The Air-con light comes on with fan settings 1-3 but the fan does not work, if you put it round to setting 4 the Air-con light goes out but the Fan comes on ? Anyone know what this may be and how to fix it and cost ?
