My oil cooler has just split on my 16v mk1. However its also been tapped and plumbed for the old external cooler as well. What i want to know is whats the best way forward? Just fit a new water cooled oil cooler to the block or do that and re-plumb the external one in as well. Any thoughts, experiences?? And anyone got an oil cooler!!

I use the water/oil cooler on the filter housing on my 16v. Go to your local scrap yard and pull off a oil filter housing off a mk2 golf or passat.Grab the coolant pipes also .Fits straight on.
