I have owned and driven a Subaru Impreza WRX which I did not really like and 14 different Golfs - all GTIs / VR6s and absolutely love them... however I have always wondered what I should/will drive when I 'grow-up' being at the tender age of 30 years at present  Only had a license for 3 years though which makes my driving age around 20 and of course I have a mental age that is even lower, so my wife says

Of course, if I get a sensible grown up car, I will still have my Mk1 and Mk2 16v (sold it but am looking for another) in the garage... but its just that no car really made me sit up and say wow, if I wasn't driving a Mk5 GTI I would buy that car... the M3's and Subaru Impreza WRXs of the world don't do it for me and I have a loyalty to the VAG Group which is probably disturbing to most other normal people. However, I think I may have discovered a car that I would consider over a Mk6 GTI - the new Audi RS4. It really looks the business and sounds like a screamer from the reviews. Only problem is that it costs £30k too much for me at £50k  But I have read the deprecation guide and in a couple of years it should be available at £24k  I'm tempted.... What would you drive if it wasn't a Golf?
