Hi

I've got a 3 door GTI on order due for delivery in May so thought I'd join now.  Forum looks a friendly place with lots of good info.

Cheers

John

Hi,
new to the sight myself, spent the last 6 hours reading up on some of the advice in the mk2 forum, i have learnt more about my engine today than i have in the 4 months i have had my car.
there is such a vast amount of information and friendly banter here.
my arse is square from the seat i have been parked in since opening this site. most impressed with what i have seen and read so far.

Thanks folks!

My current car is a Lexus IS200SE and I had a Mitsubishi Evo 6 before that.  Joined both forums and got a lot of good chat and useful info from them, so it was a no brainer signing up here!

I've had the Lex for about 2.5 years now and it is a very good car (well screwed together and good handling), but it lacks low down power and is basically short of about 50bhp.  Finally decided I needed more excitement, drove the GTI and loved it.  Build quality like the Lex and much quicker; not as mental as the Evo but better built and more practical.  Can't wait!!!!!      ÂÂÂ
